Pseudotitanoceras armeniacum
Taxonomy
Nautilus armeniacus was named by Abich (1878). Its type specimen is LGI 14/99 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Araxes Gorge, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in Azerbaijan.
It was recombined as Pseudotitanoceras armeniacum by Shimansky (1965) and Teichert and Kummel (1973).
