Ellesmeroceras scheii
Taxonomy
Ellesmeroceras scheii was named by Foerste (1921). Its type specimen is PMO A10430, a partial shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Victoria Head (Ellesmere Island), which is in a Gasconadian marine horizon in Canada. It is the type species of Ellesmeroceras.
