Rioceras wellsi

Taxonomy
Rioceras wellsi was named by Flower (1964). Its type specimen is NMBM 876, a partial shell (phragmocone), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southern Franklin Mts. at El Paso, which is in a Cassinian shallow subtidal dolomite in the Scenic Drive Formation of Texas.
