Robsonoceras robsonense

Taxonomy
Ellesmeroceras robsonensis was named by Walcott (1924). It is not extant. Its type specimen is a series of syntypes in the USNM. Its type locality is 61q. Billings Butte, E of Robson Peak, which is in a Stairsian marine horizon in the Chushina Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Robsonoceras.

It was recombined as Robsonoceras robsonense by Ulrich and Foerste (1936), Ulrich et al. (1944) and Flower (1964).
