Boreoceras washburni
Taxonomy
Boreoceras washburni was named by Miller and Youngquist (1947). Its type specimen is YPM 17312A, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Sutton Island, SW side, which is in a Tremadocian carbonate dolomite in Canada. It is the type species of Boreoceras.
