Taxonomy
Cyrtocerina crenulata was named by Flower (1952). Its type specimen is USNM 15685, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Beloit (Beloit Mbr.), which is in a Turinian deep subtidal shelf limestone/dolomite in the Platteville Formation of Wisconsin.
