Foordiceras goliathum

Taxonomy
Nautilus goliathus was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Serai at Katwahi, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan. It is the type species of Foordiceras.

It was recombined as Foordiceras goliathum by Hyatt (1893) and Miller and Unklesbay (1942); it was recombined as Foordiceras goliathus by Reed (1944).
