Paraphillipsia middlemissi
Taxonomy
Phillipsia middlemissi was named by Diener (1897). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chitichun No. 1 Block (1892 collection), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in China.
It was recombined as Ditomopyge middlemissi by Fantini Sestini (1965); it was recombined as Paraphillipsia middlemissi by Owens (2003).
