Polinices (Euspira) guamblinensis was named by Frassinetti and Covacevich (1995) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Pliocene; Chile.]. Its type specimen is SGO.PI.4202, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Euspira guamblinensis by Nielson and Valdovinos (2008).
