Taxonomy
Venus blandiana was named by Guppy (1873). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Antigona blandiana by Olsson (1922); it was recombined as Antigona (Ventricola) blandiana by Anderson (1929); it was recombined as Ventricolaria blandiana by Woodring (1982).
