Orthoceras expansum

Taxonomy
Orthoceras expansum was named by Blake (1882). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GSM 103511, a shell. Its type locality is Killey Bridge Fm. locality 1, NE of Pomeroy, which is in a Richmondian offshore mudstone/siltstone in the Killey Bridge Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Michelinoceras expansum by Evans (1993).
