Faberoceras subarctuatum
Taxonomy
Orthoceras subarctuatum was named by Portlock (1843). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GSM 103474 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Killey Bridge Fm. locality 1, NE of Pomeroy, which is in a Richmondian offshore mudstone/siltstone in the Killey Bridge Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Faberoceras subarctuatum by Evans (1993).
