Taxonomy
Eovasum peruvianum was named by Douvillé (1921). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Volutospina peruviana by Woods (1922); it was recombined as Voluta (Peruluta) peruviana by Olsson (1928); it was recombined as Peruluta peruviana by Hendy et al. (2008).
