Taxonomy
Olivancillaria (Agaronia) saxosa was named by Olsson (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lagunitas [Saman Conglomerate, Saman Fm], which is in an Eocene coastal conglomerate in the Saman Formation of Peru.
It was recombined as Agaronia saxosa by Hendy et al. (2008).
