Bathmoceras llanvirnense

Taxonomy
Conoceras llanvirnense was named by Roberts (1884). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SM A.16690, a shell. Its type locality is "1/2 mi N. of W. from the Llanvirn quarry", which is in an Abereiddian offshore shale in the Aber Mawr Shale Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Bathmoceras llanvirnense by Evans (2005).
