Taxonomy
Schuchertoceras bodense was named by Frye (1982). It is not extant. Its type specimen is RM Mo 152301, a shell. Its type locality is Kallholn, Siljan District, which is in a Katian reef, buildup or bioherm lime mudstone in the Boda Limestone Formation of Sweden.
