Trocholites fugax was named by Babin and Gutiérrez-Marco (1992). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Museo GeoMinero, Madrid, NE VII 2639, a shell.

Synonyms
  • Lituites primulus was named by Barrande (1865). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CGH L 40460, a shell. Its type locality is Svatá Dobrotivá, which is in a Dobrotivian offshore shale in the Dobrotiva Formation of the Czech Republic.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Trocholites fugax by Manda (2008).
