(?extracalicular-) marginal. Corallites isolated or arranged in very short (up to three corallite centers in type species), wavy series. Corallite centers connected by lamellar linkages present or absent. Series separated by tectiform collines. No ambulacra. Costosepta confluent to non-confluent, and have sparse irregularly occurring perforations. Their lateral flanks covered by medium-sized (up to around 100 μm tall) rounded to spiniform granules and pennulae. Columella composed of a small number of papillae or elongate segments. Paliform structures present or absent. Endothecal dissepiments present. Synapticulae occur throughout the colony. Intertrabecular distance ranging between 90 and ca. 210 μm. Wall parasynapticulothecal, complete or incomplete. |
