Redondavenator quayensis
Taxonomy
Redondavenator quayensis was named by Nesbitt et al. (2005). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-25615, a partial skeleton (Anterior portion of skull , incomplete scapula and coracoid found in close association with the anterior portion of the skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMMNH locality 2671, which is in a Norian lacustrine - small conglomerate in the Redonda Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Redondavenator.
