Normannognathus wellnhoferi
Taxonomy
Normannognathus wellnhoferi was named by Buffetaut et al. (1998). Its type specimen is Musee Geologique Cantonal de Lausanne 59'583, a partial skull (Associated upper and lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ecqueville, Octeville-sur-Mer, which is in a Kimmeridgian marine claystone in the Argiles d'Octeville Formation of France.
