Bicorbis arizonica
Taxonomy
Bicorbula arizonica was named by Condra and Elias (1945). Its type specimen is Neb Geol Surv 264 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grand Canyon, near Bright Angel Trail, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Bicorbis.
It was recombined as Bicorbis arizonica by Condra and Elias (1945), Bassler (1953) and McKinney (1983).
