Clypeoceras timorense

Taxonomy
Meekoceras timorense was named by Wanner (1911). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kapan, Timor, which is in a Smithian carbonate limestone in the Cephalopod Limestone Formation of Indonesia.

It was recombined as Koninckites timorensis by Spath (1934) and Renz and Renz (1948); it was recombined as Clypeoceras timorense by Shigeta and Zakharov (2009).
