Sillosuchus longicervix
Taxonomy
Sillosuchus longicervix was named by Alcober and Parrish (1997). Its type specimen is PVSJ 85, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cancha de Bochas, southern Ischigualasto, which is in a Carnian floodplain siliciclastic in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Sillosuchus.
