Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
Q. Liu et al. 2006 | The dorsal shield probably has a low,roof-like profile, although the specimens are now flattened. The cephalon is wide and short, semicircular in outline, without marginal spines. The surface appears to be smooth. A transverse line anteriorly defines a rostral area. A large hypostome extends backward, seemingly from a rostral structure. A pair of antennae is seen to extend forwards in one specimen. The thoracic portion is parallel-sided. The segmental boundaries are strictly transverse, incontrast with those of the pygidium, which are inclined outward-backward. The latter numbers 4 or 5. The pygidium is some what more parabolic in outline than the cephalon. |
