Taxonomy
Oredezhosteus kuleshovi was named by Moloshnikov (2009). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 1737/74 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yam-Tesovo, River Oredezh [Amata beds], which is in a Frasnian marine horizon in the Amata Formation of the Russian Federation.
