Chaohusaurus

Taxonomy
Chaohusaurus was named by Young and Dong (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen Sepkoski's reference number: 746]. It is not extant. Its type is Chaohusaurus geishanensis.

It was assigned to Grippidia by Motani (1999); to Ichthyosauria by Sepkoski (2002); and to Grippiidae by Maisch and Matzke (2000) and Maisch (2010).
