Taxonomy
Aetomacladia ambrosioides was named by Bretnall (1926). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gascoyne River District (GSWA collection), which is in a Sakmarian coastal horizon in the Callytharra Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Ramipora ambrosioides by Wass (1968).
