Alternifenestella spinifera

Taxonomy
Fenestrellina spinifera was named by Crockford (1946). Its type specimen is UQ F7955A and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lakes Creek Quarry, Trachypora horizon, Rockhampton, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Berserker Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Fenestella spinifera by Maxwell (1964) and Wass (1968); it was recombined as Alternifenestella spinifera by Morozova (2004).
