Alternifenestella spinifera
Taxonomy
Fenestrellina spinifera was named by Crockford (1946). Its type specimen is UQ F7955A and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lakes Creek Quarry, Trachypora horizon, Rockhampton, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Berserker Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Fenestella spinifera by Maxwell (1964) and Wass (1968); it was recombined as Alternifenestella spinifera by Morozova (2004).
