Taxonomy
Polypora linea was named by Crockford (1941). Its type specimen is Sydney Univ 1414 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mulbring, Portion 126, which is in a Roadian offshore siliciclastic in the Branxton Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Shulgapora linea by Reid (2003).
