Tesakoviaspis concentrica was named by Karatajute-Talimaa and Meredith Smith (2004). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tchunia (Tchunku) River, Nizhniaya, which is in a Llandovery marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Tesakoviaspis.
