Caryocaris cedarbergensis

Taxonomy
Caryocaris cedarbergensis was named by Whittle et al. (2007). Its type specimen is C1971, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Keurbos Farm, southeast of Clanwilliam, which is in a Hirnantian marginal marine shale in the Cedarburg Formation of South Africa.
