Taxonomy
Calathium yersini was named by Church (1991). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 448557. Its type locality is Yersin Hills, Fillmore Formation, Millard County, which is in a Floian reef, buildup or bioherm grainstone in the Fillmore Formation of Utah.
