Idoceras is a genus. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Idioceratinae.
It was assigned to Ataxioceratinae by Verma and Westermann (1973); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Idoceratinae by Grigore (2010) and Zell and Stinnesbeck (2015).
