Taxonomy
Angulataphrus dietli was named by Gründel (2003). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ostdorf, which is in an Angulata coastal sandstone in the Angulatensandstein Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Angulataphrus.
