Lepidocystis wanneri
Taxonomy
Lepidocystis wanneri was named by Foerste (1938). Its type specimen is USNM 90773 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM locality 8x, 2 miles north of york, which is in a Dyeran marine shale in the Kinzers Formation of Pennsylvania. It is the type species of Lepidocystis.
