Taxonomy
Eocrinus multibrachiatus was named by Kirk (1945). Its type specimen is USNM 108556a and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Gogia multibrachiatus by Robison (1965) and Robison (1965).

R. A. Robison 1965Brachioles number at least 22, and possibly as many as 40; nonspiraled. Thecal plates irregularly arranged, variable in shape, and ornamented with small granules; number on large specimens more than 200. Sutural pores probably occur between most plates of theca. Hohlwurzel unknown.
