It was assigned to Leymeriellinae by Wright (1952); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Leymeriellidae by Nagy (1970), Kennedy et al. (1980), Lehmann et al. (2013), Lehmann et al. (2016) and Seyed-Emami and Wilmsen (2016).
