Taxonomy
Scutella blancoensis was named by Kew (1920). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Echinarachnius blancoensis by Grant and Hertlein (1938) and Weaver (1942); it was recombined as Kewia blancoensis by Linder et al. (1988).
