Gastrochaenolites lapidicus

Gastrochaenolites lapidicus was named by Kelly and Bromley (1984). It is extant. Its type specimen is BGS Kelly Col. Zu2230, an other. Its type locality is Locality 3, Nettleton, Basal Spilsby Nodule Bed, Lincolnshire, which is in a Tithonian shoreface sandstone in the Spilsby Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Gastrochaenolites.
