Squatinactis caudispinatus
Taxonomy
Squatinactis caudispinatus was named by Lund and Zangerl (1974). Its type specimen is UMGM 3333, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Bear Gulch (Carnegie Museum Collection), which is in an Arnsbergian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Squatinactis.
