Mayaites is a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Ammonites maya. It is the type genus of Mayaitidae.

It was assigned to Mayaitidae by Arkell et al. (1957); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Mayaitinae by Alberti et al. (2015).
