Procentrophorus balticus

Taxonomy
Centrophorus balticus was named by Dalinkevicius (1935) [lectotype designated by Adnet et al. 2008]. Its type specimen is COLL-VU 7, a tooth (anterolateral tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaunas ('Rhynchonella octoplicata' Level), which is in a Cenomanian basinal (siliceous) marl in the Labguva Formation of Lithuania. It is the type species of Procentrophorus.

It was recombined as Procentrophorus balticus by Adnet et al. (2008).
