Taxonomy
Cuspidaria (Cardiomya) soriensis was named by Eames (1951). It is extant. Its type specimen is L. 80421, a shell. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.2680, Zinda Pir, which is in a Ypresian marine shale in the Ghazij Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Cardiomya (Cardiomya) soriensis by Kachhara et al. (2011).
