Namacalathus hermanastes
Taxonomy
Namacalathus hermanastes was named by Grotzinger et al. (2000). Its type specimen is F314 Namibia and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reefal biostrome, Kuibis Subgroup, which is in an Ediacaran reef, buildup or bioherm bindstone in the Zaris Formation of Namibia. It is the type species of Namacalathus.
