Taxonomy
Distichopsis vesiculoseptata was named by Roniewicz (1995). Its type locality is Gosaukamm, Austria, which is in a Norian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/limestone in the Dachstein Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Distichopsis.
