S. Buckman and J. C. Aitchison 2001 | Seven rod like spines are radiating from the central part of the shell in horizontal plane, and two of these curve distally with clockwise rotation. In this attitude, spines being numbered from first to seventh, two spines (first or top and fourth or bottom spines) are nearly straight and sitting opposite site, and form intersector or main spine. Third and seventh spines extending both sides of main spines, distally curved. Second spine is sit- ting on right side and fifth and sixth spines sitting on left side. By spines connect these spines and form 'spider web' like shell. |
