Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M.-Z. Won and W. J. Iams 2002A spherical skeleton constructed on a six-rayed point-centered spicule. Spicule formed by a crossing of three rods, resulting in six rays orthogonally arranged; no difference between apical and basal rays; primary spinules developed along the lengths of all the rays except in the proximal regions; secondorder, even third-order spinules present; the density of spinules imparting a spherical shape, but spinules not connected; the length of the spinules diminished toward the distal part of the rays.
