Iams 2002A point-centered spicular skeleton constructed of six rays; three to five radially arranged first-order spinules arising on all rays at one level, but those on apical rays generally much smaller than those on the basal rays; second-order spinules rarely present; thorns common on the spinules and rays except for the proximal parts of the rays.
