Gerobatrachus hottoni

Taxonomy
Gerobatrachus hottoni was named by Anderson et al. (2008). Its type specimen is USNM 489135, a partial skeleton (stylopods, zeugopods, and ventral portions of the skull and pectoral girdle are missing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is USNM Locality 40971, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siltstone in the Arroyo or Vale Formation of Texas.
